Charger of the company Epsolar suitable for installations up to 20A at 24V. It is a type PWM. PWM charge controllers simply connect the solar panel to the battery (12/24/48V) making them simple switches. When the switch is closed, the panel voltage equals the battery voltage. The result is that the array voltage that the PWM charge controller can accept depends on the battery voltage and is small, usually one or two 100/200Wp panels in series with correspondingly small charging current compared to the capabilities of an MPPT charge controller. Based on the above, PWM charge controllers are ideal for smaller systems where system efficiency is not such an important factor and for solar collectors with maximum power voltage (Vmp) up to 18V for 12V battery charging.
